La Linea, a brainchild of wine maestros David LeMire MW and Peter Leske, commenced its vinous journey in 2007. It all began with Peter's obsession for a delicate, dry Tempranillo rosé. This Adelaide Hills haven proved the haven for the envisioned flavour, giving birth to La Linea's inaugural vintage.

Their expertise extends to crafting dry Tempranillo for over a decade, embodying a medium-bodied elegance with the varietal's signature fleshy mid-palate, velvety tannins, and a delightful fragrance. The team's ardor for wine transcends Tempranillo; they are renowned for the 'off-dry' Vertigo '25GR' Riesling and the Mencia, hailing from nearby Lenswood since 2016. This Spanish varietal, traditionally a light, aromatic red, manifests in La Linea's signature hue of brilliant purple, boasting a captivating nose of white pepper and red berries, and a lively, textured palate. We have always been impressed by their wines and have supported La Linea and we are super excited to have Peter joining us at Knird to share his journey, his stories and his wine with you.
